Discussion question:

When university students are asked to demonstrate their learning by creating and sharing audio/video podcasts, what academic standards, and assessment and reporting practices are essential or desirable?

Due to the relative novelty of learner-generated audio resources for assessment purposes, there is likely to be some conflating of 'technical' issues and 'assignment' issues when compared with written essays and the like. This is less likely to be a problem in areas like languages. A clear specification of the purpose of the podcasts and the assessment criteria are essential.
